Photos of campo (countryside)

We went to the country side and visited with my family from 20 years ago.  Here are the photos; some changes, lots the same:

My "mom", cooking on her fogon; step up from fire on the floor.  She has 2 electric stoves/ovens in her house, but doesn't use.

The house I lived in 20 years ago; major upgrades.

Yep, that would be a cow head.  They ate all they could, then they boil it and get every last bit, and feed this "soup" to the pigs.

Girls went to the fields and picked choclo (corn) with "Tio" Tito.

Making yummy chipa guazu (moist corn bread).

Oh, the bus rides.  The girls are true global travelers.

Oh, the animals...

The hardworking women, the guapas.

My "family", now all grown with their families.
